Ill admit I read the article and almost right off, I could tell - TopicsExpress

Ill admit I read the article and almost right off, I could tell the writer was compiling stories rather than telling her own. I DID NOT send money. It was too transparent. However, I did feel some twinge of sympathy for the author until I read this. Shes actually a political activist who has met Obama several times. The level to which these low lifes will stoop is astounding. Why I Make Terrible Decisions was, in some ways, a true accounting of some peoples experiences, in others a mish-mosh of lies and absurdities. I smoke because its a stimulant and I need to work harder. I dont cook because it attracts roaches. These are inane comments, and are only supportive of why, exactly, the poor remain poor. They are not excuses for being poor. Whats astounding, truly astounding, was the author responded to some of the comments left on her blog by attacking those who pointed out the flaws in her story, telling them to sue me for smoking, and generating close to $65,000 in charitable donations. Stories like this would be good and useful if they werent designed for an ulterior political motive - but this is where the Left is today - lying to us and saying its OK to lie if the story is good and decent for a political end.
