Ill be the first to introduce myself. This is my little Tessa. She has a segmented hemangioma taking up her entire right cheek. She is in the beginning stages of additional testing to rule out PHACES Syndrome, which is a combination of vascular abnormalities in the heart and brain. If her MRI, echocardiogram and eye exam come back negative for PHACES then she will be started on blood pressure medication to hopefully stop the growth of her hemangioma and maybe even shrink it. Right now it is very rapidly growing. I am praying that she does not end up with any scarring or permanent damage before we can get her on the medication.
