Ill do Im so Macon thing I guess. 1. I remember my mother buying all our groceries at the piggly wiggly on Rocky Creek Rd. 2. I remember the McDonalds right by it had the best playground ever. 4. I remember getting the special McDonalds plates with the characters on them and my brother and I always fighting over the one with the snow scene. 5. I remember our school field trip EVERY YEAR was to the Macon Museum and watching the planetarium show...Billions and billions of stars...... 6. I remember spending every Saturday from March til August (it seemed) at Bloomfield little league from sun up til sun down. 7. I can remember thinking Lake wildwood is where the rich people live. 8. I remember where Moores furniture is now was the big movie theatre in Macon. 9. I remember you couldnt leave the football game (even though southwest was loosing by 5-touchdowns to Central) until the band played and danced. 10. I remember the time Billy Gay knocked that guy out cold at the Shakeys parking lot where everybody went cruising. 11. I remember getting my haircut at a barber shop on Houston Ave. they had a machine when you put money in it, you could pull out a 7oz coke. Whatever kind of coke you wanted too. Sprite, doctor pepper...all kinds of coke. 12. I remember I was so jealous because my brother had the very rare, WHITE, southwest jacket and I had the standard blue. 13. I remember watching the Macon Pirates play at Luther Williams Field. 14. I remember playing in the Allstar tourney at South Macon ballpark after loosing out in the real little league allstars. I loved playing on their field, it was 180ft and you could play off and steel. I hit 3-home runs in a row on that field. 15. I remember Central high school was where the rich Preppy kids went to school. 16. The best boiled peanuts where sold at the farmers market. We got them every Halloween and Christmas cause thats where you bought your pumpkins and Christmas trees.
