Yes but things like that, what he actually did last night, it makes everyone doubt his professionalism. You see, most of the young players often go down easily. They blamed Busquets for the dive back when he was 23. They blamed Neymar for diving last season the whole time. These youngsters are then taught not to. The coaches help them get over it. Theyre made to realize that when you got a team with whole bunch of legends, you dont need to play it dirty. It stains your personality against the senior players. But then, no one from Madrid can criticize Ronaldo for this. What I mean here is the the coaching and psychiatric staff. You warn him for this and hell miss a couple of training sessions. Make statements over the media. Act as if hes really got one genuine issue but give away a message that hes angry. You dont blame him as a person for this. This is natural. Thats because hes a professional. He acts that way. You dont wanna let go off your best player at the moment by asking him something hed consider to be a mark upon his brilliance. Only a few people can play it humble like Iniesta or Messi, despite of all the facilities they receive. You dive one night, you joke it out in the dressing room 5 minutes after the match or in the next days training session. Thats it. Bottom line: We dont really need to care OR defend for who dives or who doesnt. A player himself needs to realize that its unprofessional. He changes himself like Neymar did, well and good. He doesnt, its gonna be hyped by media, something theyre very good at. We leave their job to them and enjoy the game. #MZB
