Ill follow DAD !! By Marita Shukla Fernandes .... Mom Ive married this girl today... Soon with me, shes gonna stay... Mom shell cook for me, like you do... Ill continue getting awesome dishes, new.. She will wash my clothes and make my cup of tea.. You can rest now mom..Shell be there for me.. When Im sick, she will, sit by my side.. Like how you did, she will be my angel and guide... Mom she will wipe away, all my tears... Give me strength like you did, when I had the fears.. She will worry for me, when Im at work and away... And for my good health, like you she will pray... Mum just as you looked after bro, sis and me.. She will look after my kids, tiny and wee... Mum you will always, be my first priority... But now I have her too, she is my responsibility.. Mum last night she cried, cause you yelled... I wish you were gentle and you two gelled... Mom I know, youre old and need respect and care.... But Mom? please dont hurt her, dont you dare.. Mom I know, you can work endlessly.. But shes not too well,so may work clumsily.. Mom the apple of your eye, is your Daughter... Her parents too long to see, her happiness and laughter.. Mom Im sure you would, not like it this way.. If anyone had come, between Dad and you any day... Mom shes just like you, a second Mum of mine... Tru ups and downs she was with me, her loves divine.. Mom I love you dearly, But I love her too... Please forgive me Mom, shes too a woman like you.. Mom Im sorry I cant hurt her, just cause you demand.. She has feelings too, I cant follow your command.. Just as Dad loved you and secured your life.. I too ought to do that, cause shes my wife... Mum please dont insult her and make her feel sad... After you Dear Mom, shes all Ive ever had... Mom today I hurt her, cause you said she made you mad... But Mom I know she was right,But for you, I made her sad.. Hurting her to satisfy you?am I being as a husband true? What am I doing, am I going crazy? I really have no clue.. Mom just as your tears, mean a lot to me.. Her tears are also something, I really hate to see... Mom I just cant hurt someone, who was always by my side.. When family forgot me at times, she never left my side... Mom Im a man and I know, I cant cheat... Punish the one whos innocent, I just cant defeat.. Mom she too is a woman, so think before you act... You are a woman too, so please dont harshly react.. Mom a woman will understand, another woman, the best.. Treat her like your own daughter, she too needs some rest.. Mom Im a Man and I know, if I hurt a Woman... My conscience keeps reminding me, Im not behaving human.. Mom it was you, who taught me, what was love.. And that, love was always, one step above.. So let me also love equally, the one who loves me.. Im changed for the better, Im sure you all can see... So be happy Mom, your sons got someone,to love him dearly.. Open you eyes Mom and try to see the world, clearly... Mom you will always be, the one, above all... But Mom you really need to, understand it all... Just as you expected the love and attention from Dad.. She too needs my love and attention, sorry I cant be bad.. Dad is my role model, the one I look up to... And if he loved you dearly, I need to love her too...
