Illinois State Police officials want motorists to pay special attention in the following areas and expect lane closures due to several crashes: I-80 Eastbound and Westbound Lanes between I-55 and Seneca Road. I-55 Northbound and Southbound Lanes between I-355 and IL Route 129 I-57 Northbound and Southbound Lanes between Steger Road and Wilmington/ Peotone Road They have several vehicles in ditches throughout the Grundy, Kendall, and Will County interstates and state routes. Please use extreme caution if travel is unavoidable at this time and throughout the evening and early morning hours. Also, remember to slow down, and change lanes away from all emergency vehicles conducting duties with their emergency lights activated.
