Im 4hours late on my reenactment posts but at 5:43pm 3 years ago God gave me the most amazing birthday present that just keeps on giving. 7pounds 9.3 ounce beautiful baby boy Chase Michael Ward! CJ was only 36minutes old when he was admitted into the NICU3 for dysnea(spck) which is difficulty breathing common in post term babies it took CJ the entire month of October before he was able to come home. His breathing problems got worse and each breathing fit he had it took all his energy, he was exhausted and just wanted to sleep and he wouldnt eat. It took long hours and lots of patients to feed him, I was so hurt and so upset being a mom getting released from the hospital and your child having to stay is one of the worst feelings I have ever felt (twice I felt this feeling BC taylor was born 2 months early she only weighed 4lbs 13oz so she too was admitted to the NICU she had bradycardia attacks but those went away the more she gained ) but eventually his lungs grew stronger and he began to wake up on his own more and eat on his own :) today he has no breathing problems and eats like a grown man.Its amazing how crazy life is and how fast it passes you by.
