Im Changing! Romans 12:2King James Version (KJV) 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Change isn’t something we all particularly care for because it disrupts our normal. Anything that disrupts our level of complacency, we perceive it to be the work of the enemy. But how many of us know, that isn’t always true. God allow certain things to come our way, so He can bring forth the best us and position us for His best. Life is full of endless possibilities and in order for us to accomplish and possess certain things we have to be flexible and embrace change. I say embrace it, because it’s going to happen whether we like it or not, so we mind as well prepare to make the necessary shifts. So that the change will work for us, than against us. So it is with the things concerning your spirit . What do I mean? When you spend time in the word of GOD, in the presence of GOD, and in the house of GOD, change is inevitable. There is no way we can come into the presence of GOD and not leave changed. For example, you are trying to lose weight or tone up and decide to start going to the gym. You show up every day on time and never use the equipment or make the lifestyle changes needed to meet your desired goal but you expect to see results and change. Should you be mad at the gym for not delivering or be mad at yourself for not doing your part? You be the judge! The bible says faith without works is dead. James 2:14 Don’t get mad at the people who do not believe in the words you speak when your actions are contrary. Remember people pay more attention to what you do, verses what you say. One of my favorite gospel songs is Changed by Walter Hawkins. The lead singer is Tramaine Hawkins who sings in such an inspiring way about a complete change that has happened in her life as a born again believer. You may or may not have heard this song before, so I shared the song via YouTube and I pray that you allow it to minister to you. The lyrics are amazing, wouldn’t you agree. The definition of change is make or become different. God desires to do a complete work in your life so much so, that the things you use to do, you don’t do anymore. And if someone was to hear your testimony, they would be shocked because the work GOD did in your life don’t allow you to look like all the things you been through. My prayer for you on today is that you don’t give up or that you don’t throw in the towel because your change is taking longer than expected. You are God’s new creation and your transformation is for His glory. Trust His timing and His process to bring you out as pure gold.
