Im OK with the fare increase even as I commute on public transport to/fro work daily. I can see that poly students will get their long overdue concessions and elderly as well as young children will benefit. Even low wage workers will get their subsidies etc. I really dont mind the $0.20 increase daily. Ive been cheered by the platform aunties as they greet me good morning as well as the ushers near the escalator at work. I know smrt has been making efforts to improve and one notable change is the renaming of Control Station to Passenger Services. Who noticed? :) Thank you CJean Lim for this well written note.
