Im SO proud of the progress Oscar has made!! This big boy came to us for euthanasia from animal control many months ago. They said he was meaner than a junkyard dog. We disagreed. :) At the clinic, with loud noises and animals everywhere, Oscar was very fractious to everyone. At my home, it took him a couple of weeks before he relaxed and settled in, in his bedroom. Oscar has shown me how amazing he can be when he is with someone he trusts. He is a total snuggle bug now -- he crawls up on my chest, gives kisses and just snuggles in. He is a purr monster! He is scared of loud noises and we are suspicious that someone was not very nice to him in his previous life. Oscar is looking for a loving home, with no children and not a ton of commotion. He doesnt seem to mind my calm dog and is curious about other cats. Oscar needs a total cat person - someone who fully understands and embraces the unique needs of misunderstood felines, someone who will continue to show him, every day, how good life can be and someone who will let me visit. :) I think hes about ready to leave our nest but it HAS to be the right person. Please share. Hes neutered, front declawed and is a very tall, big cat.
