Im Sage. Im a 4yr old pure bred weimaraner thats neutered. Im in need of a new home with someone who has the patience for me. I dont do very well when small kids are around me, but big kids (bigger than me) are great. I growl and spaz out when the baby comes near me. Im too hyper around her too. My parents are worried that im going to unintentionally hurt her by jumping or getting too excited. Ive never bitten or snapped at her. I hover the baby constantly. Im obsessed with sparkles or reflections to the point nothing else registers. I like cats that live with me, but will chase outside strays. Im not very good with other dogs. We can play fetch with anything until your arm falls off. I chase cars, outside animals, walkers, bicycles, leaves, you name it. Im house broken in the fact i wont potty inside, i can hold it all day. But i do get a little bored and snackish sometimes and will chew your couch, tv remotes, dig at carpet to make a bed, etc. Ill even take out the garbage for you...out of the bucket that is. I do bark when people visit or drive up to the house. Im a HUGE snuggle bug and would love to sleep in the big bed with you. I know all my basic commands and will do anything for food. I hate being on a chain, but do good in a pen when you cant watch me, but i would prefer to be in the house or with you outside. Im not an outside winter dog, i have no hair for these montana winters. Im up to date on all of my shots and i will come to my new home with 2 big bags of dog food. I need someone patient, energetic, and no little kids. Please help me fine my new home. A note from parents: if things dont work out we are willing to take sage back. He does need to go to another home because of the safety of our baby. If you just want to comment on how we should train sage, please keep it to yourself, this dog is a disaster and you cant train a dog to like a kid. Thanks. :)
