Im Sharing this with you to warn you that there is alot of deception and people out there trying to prey on others who are being used as agents of you know who . Me and Sue went to look at this beautiful place after answering a add on craigs list . The man who placed it claimed he was the land lord and lived in South Carolina because he had to go their for a job and he and his wife had to move and needed us . Yes We both went wow . The land lord or fake land lord was saying he was renting this for 800 with utilties and head and internet and cable included . Red flag . Being observant that I am I noticed there were still stickers on the walls and lumber in the back . and looking inside it didnt look like any one and I mean any one ever lived in here . Another thing I didnt like couldnt look inside and could only talk to this creature feature by text.Me and Sue Prayed then I went waling around the parimeter of the property myself while Sue waited in the car . I prayed I said Lord if this is not of you but a Deception from the evil one make it very clear to me . I want to be very clear this is from you . My next decision too was to seek counsel with a couple of trusted people . But We got the answer even before they could look at these . I was home and working and something told me to type in rental scams on craigs list . several warnings and news stories came up . This is a nation wide scam. people in other states go around and find properties for sale then make believe they are renting them for ridicoulouos small amount of money or normal rent and you get heat and utitlies and cable . I googled properties for sale on such and such a street in east greenwhich and sure enough here was our pretend house . I called the realtor and he told me he recieved about 9 calls on this same house . HAD WE TOOK THIS BAIT WE WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT OF OUR APARTMENT AND OUT 1 THOUSAND 600 AND NO PLACE TO GO . PRAISE GOD FOR HIS PROTECTION, WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT . DONT DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW THE PERSON OR IT GOES THRU A REALESTATE AGENCY. NOW DO YOU SEE HOW THE ENEMY CAN BE DECEPTIVE AND PREYS ON OUR WANTS AND DESIRES . BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU . NO MATTER HOW MUCH OR HOW LITTLE . AMEN
