Im a European American and Im certainly very, very proud of my heritage; I love my heritage, the traditions of our land, the values of our people; the incredible scientific, artistic works of our people that have literally lit the world with beauty and progress. And no people (certainly) is without sin in a sense because every people has conquered other people; every people has engaged in whats called imperialism. Today the world rejects that, weve gone to a new ethic; We believe that just because one country is strong that they dont have the right to oppress or enslave or exploit a smaller, weaker nation. I think most people intrinsically believe in the right of every people to control their own destiny, to decide their own government, to decide and to celebrate their own culture and traditions and values; and not to impose them or force them or corrupt other countries to make them follow their traditions (the traditions of the oppressor) rather than the traditions of the indigenous peoples. These are basic concepts folks.
