Im a better man because I am a real Father. I did everything for my child but birthed her, from changing diapers, to cooking for and cleaning her and dressing her and paying for all of the things that she needed. I taught her and listened to her and prayed with and for her. I wiped away her tears and was there to protect her from all of her fears, I made her smile when she was sad, and punished her when she was bad. I put her to bed each and every night and woke her up to get her to school on time every day, I danced with her every evening when I came in and held her tight as we moved around our living room. I remind her everyday that she has to be her best and do my best to be a good example for her to go by. I Love her with every ounce of care, understanding and Joy within my body, mind and Spirit and I hope that she will someday become the kind of woman that her Mother is. I allow her the space to think and do for herself so that she will not feel controlled or confined in her growth, but I keep a watchful eye and an open mind in being the Daddy that a young woman needs. She and my God-Daughter are responsible for me being the Parent that I am and the good man that I try my best to be. I am a Real Father and Im Proud to be just that!!! OSG
