Im a big fan of TED talks. Theres always something to make you think about what you do, and why.... This talk is no different.... It made me think about how often I use mapping tools (usually Google maps), and look for the shortest route... And yet sometimes, when I know I have time, I look for the most scenic route. A perfect example of this is when Im heading out Lincoln way. The obvious most direct route from my house is via the motorway. But what a boring, soul-less drive... SO much nicer to head round Cashmere Road, out via Tai Tapu, and all the beautiful country-side..... Imagine if, via your mapping app, you could select the most scenic route and plug in your preferences of what that means for you. Imagine. :-) Happy mapping.... it sounds like it wont be far away.
