Im a big fan of convenience... and I love the advent of online grocery shopping, but having just experienced Woolworths Click and Collect service for the first time, I reckon I might be reconsidering my enthusiasm for such things..... What an EPIC FAIL!!! My groceries were not ready at the nominated collection time, so I was advised that they would be delivered to my house within an hour or two. I left my address with the girl at the service counter - but apparently she forgot to pass this little detail on because I received a call about 2 hours later advising that the driver couldnt deliver because my address wasnt on my order... (No kidding.... it was supposed to be COLLECTED). I was then told that the delivery was 10 minutes away. FORTY minutes later a flustered young man arrived with my groceries in his boot. Not only were they warm (very disappointing as this is why I chose collect instead of delivery in this weather - not even the fresh chicken and salad leaves were cool!), a few were missing, a couple had been substituted for inappropriate products, AND I received a bag of products I didnt order (and wouldnt ever eat!), so presumably there is somebody out there else upset with their delivery too! Rant over!
