Im a closet Auburn fan....but the notion that they should move up to #4 as a result of todays play is laughable after they barely escaped the hot mess that is South Carolina football. This is the problem with pre-season rankings and then adjustment. If were going to have this BS 4-team tournament, all other rankings should cease to exist...because the 4-team ranking of who gets in is the only one that matters. To me...have a tournament...each conference champion gets an entry. Play to a winner. Shut off all this should there be more than one team from a conference involved? The answer is NO. If you cant win your division, or your conference, you certainly cant lay claim to a national title. Even high school football has this figured out. Everywhere.
