Im a little behind on getting up my weekend highlights today, but what a weekend it was. I actually think it can go down in the books as my favorite one as of yet. So, without further ado, the highlights: -Being given 12 drink tickets Saturday morning by Marybeth H Townsend with the instructions to give them to patrons. If they are all gone by the end of the day, Ill be impressed. By the end of morning dance, I only had 2 left, and those were gone by the end of the day. It was difficult (conversations really are not my forte) but quite rewarding. -Having a fun patron interaction with two women who were in character and complaining about their merchant husbands who never give them any money. -Being told at the end of two different interactions that I was very pleasant and that it was a pleasure talking to me. -Getting to share tidbits of history with patrons. -Sitting and waiting outside of Serendipity for those inside to be done with their shopping and being asked about what I was knitting. -Having quite a lengthy discussion with a Czech woman who brought her family to Bristol. It was their first time at anything like a ren faire, and she just seemed so happy to be there. -Hanging out with Aliye Gallagher on Saturday. -Sitting with BBF during morning dance set and then learning the Bear dance. -Getting to see the Joust to the death. -All of Sunday Late Glade. Simply beautiful and moving. -Having even more awesome people than usual with Guilde of St. George. -Being given a rose at the end of the day by Nicole Sorensen. I keep thinking of more things to add to the list, but Im going to leave it at this. This weekend was awesome. Thanks to everyone who made it so.
