Im a lucky dog! Hello my name is Chloe. I live with my mom and dad Rod and Cathy and I have an obnoxious brother named Cooper. He drives me crazy but I still love him! Im getting along in years and my pretty brown coat is starting to turn gray. My back hips dont work very well and I sure cant retrieve like I used to but my mom and dad tell me every day how beautiful I am. As a matter of fact my nick name is gorgeous! I was laying in this beautiful patch of wild flowers the other day looking out over a remote mountain lake and realized, I am such a lucky dog! I get to see some amazing places in our beautiful state of Wyoming. Places some people only wished they could see. My mom and dad take me everywhere on our ATVs. Im getting too old to bounce up on them and mom wont let me jump down any more and my dad made me a soft cushy pillow to absorb the bumps. But each time the engine starts my mom carefully loads me up. She told me I get to go forever! Ive been so lucky to of been to the top of the majestic Big Horn Mountains and to the highest peaks of the mighty Wind Rivers. Ive swam in Fish Lake and Pelham Lake and Lakes Of The Woods. I had a cool drink of water out of the Sweetwater River, Fish Creek, Baby Wagon Creek and Warm Springs Creek. I got to test the depth of Crazy Woman Creek and Pole Creek, mom says if its too deep for me shes not going across. My mom even lifted me over huge boulders so I could take a dip in East Ten Sleep Lake. Yep I even have a place of my very own, the place mom calls the cabin! This will become my final resting place someday, where mom and dad will scatter my ashes alongside my brothers and sisters before me. But for now Im very content to be laying in this beautiful patch of wild flowers, in the great state of Wyoming, snapping at the occasional fly and watching for chipmunks! Yep Im a lucky dog!
