Im a lucky man. Ive been so blessed with so much over the years that sometimes it overwhelms me. One of the greatest gifts has been an ability to spend time in France with Amandas family. And France itself... Ive been here for a week now, just reflecting on things... life... stuff... mom...whats ahead. Its been a glorious week. And of course healing the head wound. My sister in law actually took out the stitches tonight at dinner... a good swig of wine and I have her let at it. Expert. Im happy to report the Ice fall (which seems to have made You Tube) and resulting busted skull are now fully healed. That said, Im feeling a little lazier than usual and have a fear of doorways no matter high high they are. Maybe thats just France and the wine. Did I mention its been exquisite here. Unbelievable golden sunlight that seems to be shepherding me toward the next thing. Im excited to get back this weekend, spend Easter with the family and then hit it. Speaking of which... family... I was forwarded this article written about me and the family... and, well, Im just so proud. it talks about Oliver and his film project. Thanks to all who helped out. Oliver has reached his goal on Kickstarter and now has the funds to make his movie! Im thrilled for him. Frankly this feels a bit like tooting our own horn, but again, Im just so proud of my family.
