Im after some suggestions... I have recently implemented a mud kitchen, which started from an incursion based around mud.... The mud kitchen itself is done and the children are loving it, requesting it most afternoons ( we have added shakers with sprinkles, flowers etc and go for a walk twice a week to collect natural materials to use in our cooking). I would like to make recipe books with the children to use, to encourage mathematical thinking, life concepts, matching etc, but the children are 2.5-4 years old and when I do a mat session on it, its like pulling teeth.... How would you a) get them to get it and b) implement it? I have the template etc but not sure where or how to start.TIA
