Im all for the preservation of life and all that comes with it - but just think for a second: Where was the million man march when civilians in the Middle East were being killed a few months ago? The ratio of Gazan dead civilians: Israeli dead civilians is 400:1 - does that not need at least a few people marching down the street? I understand terrorism places fear in people that makes them run and close the curtains but maybe try not to live life with double standards? If you are going to mourn the innocent death of humans then mourn them all, dont mourn a few select - or is this your fault to begin with? Maybe its marketing - maybe the making of a Youtube video and a well-televised murder makes you sleep later nights than usual. Is France just receiving better media coverage? Would you be more concerned about the death of the Gazan civilians if it was captured on film? What does that say of our consciousness then? Always remember that mourning one over the other is not empathy, you have chosen sympathy and who to sympathise for - is that the correct thinking as a human being? They always say one death is a tragedy but a thousand deaths is a statistic - if we saw all death as equal, we wouldnt kill in the first place...
