Im always thinking ahead to the next project. For the past year, Ive known what was next because wed mapped out the whole Magoo Who Series from book one to four. Now that the final book in the series is nearing completion, Ive been thinking about what I want to do next. I have a couple of YA books that have been sitting in the vault for years. I also have an idea for another book which would be fun to write and would be similar to Goos books. But I keep skirting around the novel that I began writing simultaneously as I wrote the Magoo Who Series. It simply could not wait. Its something thats begged to be written my whole life and thus far, its been fairly painful to write because its caused me to do a great deal of soul searching. To date, my books have been about animals and children and fanciful, fictional pieces. The saving grace has been that they each in some way promoted a cause or educated, but they have done so in a fun and fanciful manner. Now, Im considering a genre thats more factual and autobiographical than fiction and its about a subject that only those who have experienced it can begin to understand. I dont know the path that I will choose in 2015, but I pray that you will continue with me on the journey.
