😥 Im at a loss. The girls went from letting us pet them to psychotic agreasive over night. Not nibbles, full on charging and attacking my daughter if she sticks her hand in. These rats are probably 5-6 months old loving heir whole life in a pet store. Im so sad. I have an 8 year old that is devistated. This was our first experience with rats and had such high hopes for having them. I guess I didnt realize just how muh work such a small animal could be. She is sobbing. She wanted to be able to start trust training now that they have been here for a few days. She says its not fair to them because we dont have a huge cage and they desire better. Completely lost as to what to do. I am way too scared of them to help her (Im afraid of sprinklers so dont judge me) if we return them, are they doomed to become a feeder?
