Im blessed to work with such an innovative Board of Directors and Staff at the Maricopa County Industrial Development Authority. Earlier this evening we celebrated the Home in 5 Advantage Mortgage Origination Program. We have helped over 3000 low and moderate income first time homebuyers to achieve the American dream of homeownership in Maricopa County. Our program has originated more the $500 million in non-bond mortgages. Our board launched this program in September 2012 and it is still growing strong. It is the first in Arizona and one of the first of its kind in the nation. This program has enhanced the local housing market and has helped with the economic recovery throughout Maricopa County.
