Im bored so I started working on a prop for a up and coming cosplay Im doing. I want to know what you think of this bit. Doctors Notes: Seems to be able to endure extreme pain, genius intellect, deadly Smylex venom, assortment of gadgets. The Joker is perhaps Arkham’s most infamous patients, and certainly one of the hardest to cure. He reinvents himself each day, going from a driven mastermind to a harmless clown to a remorseless maniac within days. He considers a scheme to steal belts from the citizens of Gotham to be on the same moral level as gunning down a class of third-graders. No matter what his goal, personality, or what he has decided his origin is, he is always focused on one thing. Batman. At this point he doesn’t want to kill the Batman as he believes life without him would be dull and unamusing. He is incapable of imagining a world where he is not stimulated by his battles with the Dark Knight. He is completely resistant to treatment, and his therapists are more likely to go insane themselves than cure him. I view him as my most difficult challenge. During the week of the Jokers First killing spree. Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane reopened its doors after being closed for years. I keep telling myself it was only a coincidence. The Joker is easily the most dangerous individual I have ever met. And Ive met Gods. On paper, he doesnt appear to be much of a threat. Hes an average hand-to-hand combatant, not particularly trained in any fighting style. He doesnt possess any extra-normal abilities or meta human powers. And while he employs an elaborate selection of deadly gags, his arsenal never proves extraordinarily daunting. What separates the Joker from the pack is his mind, or some would argue the lack thereof. The Joker is a walking engine of chaos with no regular method or operations. He doesnt seem to need a reason to what does, which makes it nearly impossible to predict his next move. Professor Dennis ONeil, of of the worlds leading experts in criminal psychiatry, said it best in his rather sensational best-selling book, Laughing At You: The Joker Story. On one particular day, the Joker might spare a mans life, simply because he liked his shoelaces. The next day, he might kill a man, simply because he liked his shoelaces. Two weeks after his books publication, ONeil was found dead in his kitchen, his face twisted into a circus grin and head bound up in shirk-wrap. This is how the Joker Operates. The world is a sick and twisted joke to him, and only he seems to get the punch line. Its the chaotic behavior that gives him the worlds most disturbing and effective poker face. The joker can shift in an instant from being an elaborately costumed criminal out to make a gaudy spectacle of Gotham, into a psychotic killer, attempting to elevate murder to the level of fine art. And somewhere along the way, he became obsessed with the concept of the Batman, as if I am nothing more then a passing note is his book of blood, guts, and lies. The Jokers background is as clouded with mystery as his motivations. Joker himself has told several conflicting tales about how he came to be, the most legitimate of which implies that the Joker was originally a failed stand-up comedian, thrust into his current lifestyle by a traumatic incident involving the death of his wife. Status: It is of this Doctors opinion and several others that the patient is incurable.
