Im certain my honesty sometimes offends some people but, at the same time, others benefit from it. So if youre offended, dont get your panties/tidy white-ies in a knot. If you can manage to scrounge up any empathy for me at all, just know that this morning I cannot come up with any love whatsoever to give my mother. I went out to Park Visalia, signed in, straightened her messy room, changed her peed upon bed, and put away the laundry I had done yesterday at home. When I was finished I left her newspaper on her bed, along with a note. I decided not to seek her out in the dining hall because I was filled with dread at the very thought of seeing her face. I know its the dementia that is causing her meanness but there are times, even with that knowledge, that I just dont want to subject myself to her emotional/psychological abuse.
