Im chuckling over a media report which says SAA has a 90 day rescue plan presented this week to government, saying that it includes a suggested reduction in pilots, cabin crew and perhaps even the idea of dropping champagne. Will Emirates buy a stake and save the carrier? As I fly Qatar Airways regularly and often I can honestly say that my preferred airline has enough pilots, cabin crew, champagne...and great prices. Oh, and did I mention service? And an attitude that welcomes customers?
