Im comforted to see that I am not the only one who has experienced poor customer service with Sears. I purchased 2 dresses online and when I received the wrong shipment (the contents of my order were destined to someone with my last name) and called Sears; they suggested I either 1. bring it back to a store 2. get in touch with the other recipient and make arrangements with her. This cant be considered appropriate. As suspected, the person who received my dresses CALLED ME (we can leave the issue of privacy laws for another segment) to advise me that she had no inclination to meet or drop off my items at a Sears store; claiming, rightfully so, that it defeats the purpose of online shopping. That said, I am without my order and suspect it will take a while to get this sorted out - meanwhile, my credit card has been charged so certainly no delays there. I expect some resolution or compensation. Trying to deal with your call center is useless and a disrespect to your customers time and patience. Let me know what you need from me in order to expedite this process.
