Im considering a GCC for my next baby. Before I got married, I had a Cockatiel for 15 years and she died from an unfortunate infection. She was my love and best friend. She went everywhere with me and my family, even vacations. I was wondering if GCC are capable (with training and socialization as a young bird) of adapting to a traveling lifestyle? My husband is in the Army and it is entirely possible to move every 4 years even over seas. In fact, we just moved back to the states from 3 years in Belgium. Would my little GCC be happy, should I consider a different species, or should I consider my lifestyle unsuitable for birds?
