Im curious if other people have experienced this. Starting this year, most of my new Groupon people, as they leave, say the same thing: Ill look at my calendar then go online to schedule my next appointment. They sound so pat, and exactly alike, that I am suspicious that, just as we coach each other to ask them if they want to reschedule, they are all being coached to say that. So I have stopped asking, wait for their pat line, and thank them. Except for the people that we have agreed during the session that they will need to return and for how long, and for what purposes to meet the clients stated goals. I feel much better about that approach, and dont feel used by a slick avoidance technique. And no guessing, I know during the session exactly who will return. The other ones, I file their papers in a generic Groupon file, rather than under their own name. Any thoughts?
