Im currently a pupil at the Sixth Form, at St.Josephs, I have - TopicsExpress

Im currently a pupil at the Sixth Form, at St.Josephs, I have attended Catholic school since the age of three coming through the nursery, infants, juniors and comprehensive. The standard of teaching that I have recieved in my years at St.Josephs has been second to none. It was with this teaching that I achieved excellent GCSE grades and am now looking to further my education by studying A-levels at the Sixth Form. It is from here that I look to set the platform to move on from. I personally think the lack of support that weve recieved from the Bishop is appalling. In times like this the whole Catholic community should be together on the idea of protecting the Catholic faith. I personally believe that if our school was of the Muslim faith the LA and other outside authorities would not attempt to shut it down as there would be calls of discrimination against the faith, why not so against the Catholic faith? The same goes for the Welsh language school that is in our area, why is it fair that Welsh language students can further their education in a Welsh language Sixth Form. But those, who wish to further their education in the Catholic faith are not allowed? Lastly, Id like you all to read these statements by Director of Education, Aled Evans, who stated: The sound basis for learning set at Key Stage 4 has enabled more students to continue with their education beyond 16 and make the kind of progress that these impressive achievements evidence. and Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council, Cllr. Ali Thomas, said: This is another set of outstanding results for the county borough and I congratulate the pupils, staff and their parents for all their efforts. We are very proud of them all. I wish the students every success in their future endeavours. This sums up the success the Sixth Form has had in their results which is evidently seen by those in the LA.
