Im currently assessing a scenario where the Dev team uses Agile+Waterfall. The comments are predictable: ITIL is incompatible with Scrum We dont have to produce documentation because we use Agile Our knowledge manager is responsible for producing all the documentation We dont have a documentation repository The ITIL bureaucrats will just stifle our innovation We use TOGAF instead of ITIL We use Scrum instead of ITIL We use Prince2 instead of ITIL We recently replaced Prince version 2 with Jira and Confluence Agile doesnt need project managers Weve developed our own version of DevOps Why are you looking at dev? The problem is in Ops The Scrum Masters should be Change Managers, not someone from Ops We use Waterfall with Agile principles in two week sprints and it works great We dont do automated deployments because we dont trust the scripts *sigh*
