Im deeply offended by a certain weight loss community that has used well meaning donations for Mandela Day to enjoy lunch! No mention of giving back, or using the funds for genuine non-profit activities. Ill not be contributing to the expenses of setting up a profit making venture that does nothing for genuinely needy people. I hold Mandela Day in sacred regard and I really feel its for spreading kindness to those in very hard times, not for gluttony and luxury. Hard lesson learned, and as such Ive removed myself from all the related groups and pages...sad day for me, but such is life.
