Im feeling such an overwhelming sense of gratitude today!! As our kids climbed in to bed this morning for loves and cuddles, I reached over and felt Malanas hand, then after a few moments, the baby woke up, and now we were all cuddling in bed. After spending those precious moments all together, my kids wanted waffles, so I made them waffles. As Im making waffles Brooklyn says, Dad, your eyes sparkle like the sun! After breakfast was done, Braxton says, Daddy, thanks for making us this yummy food! And of course as I get dressed and ready to come to the Liberation Laboratory, I got hugs and kisses from kids, and from wifey! Then I log on to Facebook and see families with ailing children, with terminally ill children, I think of my friend Cindy Lynn in a vegetative state with no guarantee of recovery, and I think of families I know and love who have lost little ones. I cant help but have a feeling of incredible gratitude wash over me... look, we may never know why certain things happen to certain people, and we may never get answers to some of lifes most difficult questions, and because of that, it is all the more reason to take these tiny divine moments in time that we are given, and just lose ourselves in gratitude for them! Every second you experience health for you and your loved ones, you should experience gratitude. Every day you are given to live and love, you should experience gratitude. Every year you grow and get to watch your little ones grow, you should experience gratitude. As one of my favorite men in the world, Thomas S. Monson says, To express gratitude is gracious and honorable, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live with gratitude ever in our hearts is to touch heaven. I feel like Im touching heaven today my friends!! Thanks for being in my life!!
