Im filling out the registration form for this critter (below). Have a few questions. Ive done transfers, but this is my first time registering one. Im curious about the DNA kit. I get that theres a registration fee, then it says on the bottom of page 1 plus fee for DNA kit - $45. Ok, so I pay for the DNA kit, whats that mean? Im reading page 4 and it says that genetic color testing with DNA choice of 2 colors, I get to choose which two, right? The $35 per color is only if I do color testing without DNA? On the genetic forms where it says horses name and Horses RMHA number, she doesnt have a number or a registered name, yet. Do I just leave those blank and the office fills them in? And finally, the stuff Im ignorant on and starting to grasp, via the pic below, what color(s) would you test for? I know she carries Cr/Z for sure from the stallion (CrCr, ZZ, Ee, aa) and all I know of the Dam is shes sorrel. Id like to know her full DNA color profile for later breeding or sale purposes. I have no plans on selling her, but to cover myself for any dreaded what if situations. Thanks everyone for your feedback!
