Im further tweaking my food consumption again...Ive been extremely happy with the results of the Paleo/Primal on my system (weight loss, no more acid reflux or heartburn, hernia is not tender like it was, mood swings seem to be mostly a thing of the past, no need to FEED ME NOW)...but an interesting book Ive been reading on managing your arthritis pain once again suggests no dairy. (Everything else is pretty much in line with what were doing already.) One reason we like Primal Blueprint over strict Paleo is because neither of us is lactose intolerant, and we love our cheese--quick protein fix! (Theory is that yogurt, hard cheese, kefir, etc. have very little lactose, so no biggie...maybe...) But...ongoing science experiment that I am, Im going to give it another try. Years ago when I first went Paleo, I did skip dairy and felt a huge sense of well-being, so here we go again. Also, at present, ONE cup of coffee a day, ONE square of Josephs home made dark chocolate truffles and no other chocolate (I know, babe, we just bought two bars yesterday. Theyll keep!), and LOTS more green tea. MORE vegetables, too. So what are YOU guys doing to take charge of your health issues?
