Im getting pissed off knowing and watching how our people are still stuck in reserve boundary mentality. For example what is going on in Salish territory from Kinder Morgan to Grace inlet. What is getting me pissed off is this. Salish lands are Salish lands from Burrard Inlet to Victoria to Nananimo up to Sea Shelt. What happens in Salish territory has an affect on other territories so this means we are all in this together. Get out of reserve land base mentality and start taking back our whole territories and working from that base as a foundation. This means all Salish bands need to come together and make a new collective nation/al organization that will answer to so many many issues we are all facing like housing, employment, access to educational funding, and taking bank lands in urban areas that can accommodate the issues I just mentioned.
