Im getting really tired of hearing this bullshit about black on black crime. Okay, YES! Black on black crime exists, and its a really big issue that needs to be resolved... But lets talk about something thats NEVER talked about! BELIEVE IT OR NOT... White people kill each other too! Whoa! Go figure!! Let me just knock your socks off really quick.... Would you believe me if I said its just as prevalent as black on black crime?? Nope! Probably not. But if you dont believe me, look it up for yourself and stop letting this bullshit American media brainwash you! Reports state that African Americans are nines times more likely to be killed by other African Americans than by whites... Thats a depressing truth. The other UNSPOKEN truth is that white Americans are JUST AS LIKELY TO BE KILLED BY OTHER WHITES as opposed to African Americans! The statistics are the exact same for both races. The only difference? We always want to vilify the African American race. Demonize and demean! We even do it to ourselves and each other, on account, its the only thing weve been taught to do. By our parents, by our teachers, by our entire society... Not to excuse anything, just to explain it... Another truth that KILLS ME is the fact that if a black person kills/injures a white person, there arent any protests or vigils necessary. There is almost always instant punishment for the perpetrator! The sentencing for the criminal is almost always the max, JUSTICE IS ALMOST ALWAYS served... How sad it seems almost the exact opposite for a black victim and white criminal... But I digress... One injustice doesnt justify another. A police officer, a person who swore to uphold the law and protect the citizens of this country has murdered a young man! A man that surrendered with his hands up! A man that didnt deserve to be shot more or less 8 times. I DONT CARE THAT THEY CLAIM THAT HE WAS SUPPOSEDLY INVOLVED IN A ROBBERY... The officer knew NOTHING about that, and even if he did, he STILL wouldnt be justified in killing Mike Brown! Tell me... How is it that a white man can walk into a movie theatre and kill 12 people and injure 70 others and walk to the police cruiser, alive and well! Yet this young black man cannot even walk down a street without being gunned down by a police officer for disrupting traffic? Tell me... How is it that a police officer can shoot a damn DOG and lose his job, but a police officer shoots a black man and he gets paid leave. You can say black people only get mad when white people kill them but dont care when they kill each other. YOURE WRONG, but youre entitled to your ignorance. You can tell yourself whatever lie you need to in an attempt to soothe your racist soul, but the insufferable truth still exists... RACISM IS ALIVE AND WELL and we cannot sit idly by as it destroys and consumes our black youth as well as all people of color... Its a taught mentality that is toxic to our future generations. Its a psychological disease that is the very foundation of many of the injustices that plague not just America... But the entire world... There are many issues that need to be addressed, the world is far from perfect... but that doesnt mean you can justify this young mans murder by saying Black people kill each other, so whats the problem? THE PROBLEM IS NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO MURDER ANYONE... No one has the right to play God and take someones life away. NO.ONE. Im so sick of people BLAMING THE VICTIM, especially when its a black victim... trying to find some way to make it seem as if he DESERVED to be murdered! There is NO JUSTIFICATION for cold-blooded murder! He was a thug He was making gang signs in pictures He MAY OR MAY NOT have robbed a store None of that is relevant. Youve lost sight that a young man has lost his life for absolutely no reason! Youre not grasping the fact that youre enabling a LOUD AND CLEAR MESSAGE to be made to ALL AFRICAN AMERICANS and people of color, especially African American males that their life is always in danger, that they will never be safe in this country... That they are always able to be perceived as a thug or a gangster no matter what good they may do in this world... That their HUMAN rights are nonexistent should a white person suspect them of wrongdoing or just simply disapprove of their loud music or whatever the case may be... People keep asking, When the hell did we lose our compassion for other human beings...? I cant help but wonder if we ever had it in the first place...
