Im getting so sick & sad about the overwhelmimg amount of seniors in CA that get killed because people will NOT step up to Foster them. Rescue is about stepping up for those who need us the most & seniors are usually the easiest fosters bec they are calm. Without Committed fosters the seniors dont stand a chance. If you are in CA & cannot open your heart & home to a senior bec you are over your limit, physically cant take care of a dog etc. Please tag & Contact your CA friends/family. If the only reason you dont open heart & home for a senior is because You cant take it of they dont live as long as a younger dog but you have all the ability to care for a foster I have No words for You...are your feelings & concern that a senior doesnt live as long as a puppy worth more than the senior getting murdered in the shelter bec ones feelings are more Important? If thats the case I cannot follow your logic. If this post makes anyone defensive It is very telling bec I have already stated if one is over their limit or cannot help due to physical limitations.
