Im glad i got the chance to sell weed in high school. Im glad i got to experience how it feels to have 3 guns pointing at my face just for a quarter bag. Im glad i got to smoke, drink and party. Im glad i was put in handcuffs in front of my own mother. Im glad i got to see her cry as they put me in that cop car. Im glad i got taken to jail like an animal just to get my picture taken. Im glad i got taken to court. Im glad i had to go through probation for a year n a half. Im glad for all of it, Why? Because now i can look back and say, THAT WASNT LIFE. Dont get it twisted though, Im not aiming shots at anybody... because i have friends who do all of these things on the daily, and i love every single one of them, they know that. Plus who am i to judge when i did all of those things myself? Im just saying... this is MY story, therefore Im gonna tell you where my triumph, my redemption and my salvation came from... and that is from the one and only, Jesus Christ. He breaks chains, cures addictions, restores purpose and gives you new days that are full of hope and glory. So with that being said, Im glad... Im SO glad... because everything i went through, only made me that much stronger... and now that God is my main priority and all of my strength, who and what is gonna bring me down?
