Im glad that I know my Computers and software. Kept getting crashes so had to a clean wipe, and use my Backups to restore them to the previous state. If you do a little maintenance and backup every now and then it can save you problems down the road. Anything that I install on the computer I always do a backup and scans before install that software. Yes its tedious, but at least I dont have to worry with the problems in the long run.
