Im going to go with 8, People. 1. Im from a small town outside of Buffalo, which has been billed as the most historic square mile in the U.S.A. and is ALSO the birthplace of the cocktail. 2. My first memory is of holding my Dads hand as we walked through the Geodesic Dome in Montreal. 3. I nearly bankrupted my parents the first summer that I was allowed to run around with a 35mm camera. Wed be at that little drive-up Fotomat booth every few days to get my pictures back. I had amazing art teachers in high school who encouraged my every step, from ultra wide-angle lenses to pinhole photography. 4. Ive been to France, Germany, Austria, England, Turkey, Morocco, Uganda, Portugal, Jamaica (5x!), the DR, Burma, Thailand, the Galapagos, Costa Rica, and the Panama Canal. I have never once been homesick. 5. My first paid job was making cotton candy at the Buffalo Zoo. I had to get there really early and my booth was right in the middle of everything. The elephant trainer used to thrill me on those mornings by walking the 4 elephants up and having them steal paper cones etc. from the booth. No wonder my counts were always off...... 6. I quilt and am a voracious consumer of modern quilt blogs. I own about 18 clothing patterns and have cut and sewn one of these. It didnt fit. 7. Im proud of my schizophrenic music collection, e-ve-rah-thing from Peter Murphy to Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys, with a dash of Keely Smith and Joshua Bell thrown in there, too. Everything from my college radio DJ days to whats new on Spotify. 8. I believe in the power of transformation and positive thinking. I am so fortunate to have many people close to me whose lives have touched me and inspired me to achieve. I am blessed!
