Im going to look at land tomorrow, a bit over 10 acres. The most hilarious part of this process for me is that it comes with a free horse. Yes, a damn horse. Why is this hilarious to me? I grew up on a horse farm. My mother was a trainer and breeder. Im not a fan of horses. Do know how to deal with them. Why am I going to keep the horse if I end up purchasing this tract? It keeps the land zoned as agriculture. What does that mean? Lower land taxes and better water rights. This reduces the amount of money I have to spend annually drastically so Im happy about that. Also with the size of the land until Im ready to start building I can make the land pay for itself just with hay. Sounds like a winner, I hope I truly enjoy it when I go look at it. Other nice things: * Two wells * Retention pond * Access to county water * Ability to get faster internet than I have now.
