Im going to post this again and in detail for all the wanna be smart asses who wish to debate the issue. Bringing Ebola patients back to the U.S. is a terrible idea. Why here in the first place? West Africa is obviously near South Africa which is home to a great bit of health care. Our bringing of people who are infected back here is just elovating the risk of outbreak. And dont bother trying to argue that ebola is not airborne, I will say that it is regardless and for two reasons. #1 because while though a virus is not affected by micro evolution in the same facet as bacteria, it still can react within a host and spur on a mild mutation to its dna strand. So, what I am saying is, it is possible and realistic for it to become airborne based, acording to text book standards. #2 Ebola is perfectly able to cause internal bleeding, this does not exclude the esophagus or nasal cavities. That being said if one is infected and has internal bleeding within those areas, even on a microscopic scale, then that person is at an elovated risk to transmit the virus via the air by either coughing or sneezing. Those coughs or seezes potentially introduce the ebola virus via tiny particles of blood mixed with any outgoing flem, mucus or saliva, which is plossible for transmission from one host to the next. And even if there is a zero percent chance of airborne, do you honestly believe it is wise to introduce unhealthy people, infected with an ailment not indigenous to our nation, into a system where not one person has a way to protect themselves in public!?
