Im gonna be blunt here but its how I feel, I need to vent: I wish more black folks supported hip hop and just things in general with action instead of just giving lip service. I love all types of people and embrace all but itd be a lie to say that it doesnt frustrate me that I dont see more faces that look like mine at events/Shows that Im apart of.I love that people of other races come out and support and I appreciate it whole heartedly but it hurts not getting that same support from my people. It frustrates me that some black folks ask what time is an event over instead of when it starts and end up not showing up anyway. It hurts that friends will big up you in person or on the net but not show up to your gig or act cheap about buying tickets and supporting. I wish more black folks pushed the positive action instead of gossiping about the negative. Im just being honest about the shit man. Its just something I notice is showing up as a pattern and Im frustrated about it. I just wish Yall would support as much as you say you do is all smh
