Im happy to report that my son Jeremy feels much better. In fact, he wrote to me from the local Starbucks, where he was trying to hustle up a chess game. Last summer here in Paris his favorite tourist attraction was hustling up chess games in le Jardin du Luxembourg with the local French people who he couldnt talk to because of the language barrier. Yes, hes a bit of an unusual tourist. Love that geeky kid. Were finally getting some normal summer weather in Paris. But its going to be hot today. High of 33 (92 F). I top out at about 30, then its uncomfortable. But its still better than the rain and cold last week.
