Im having a WONDERFUL opportunity to walk in love today with my apartment complex. Awakened at 430am with gushing water sounds, an overflowing toilet (clean water, thank God). I think the emergency maintenance line maintenance person turned their pager off. Still no response. :( So, I am SO thankful for two things right now: FIRST, for my earthly Dads wisdom that he imparted in me at a very young age the common sense stuff of plumbing, I turned off the water main behind toilet to stop further water gushing and to grab a shop vac (in my case I only have a Bissell carpet cleaner, but substituted just fine) and suck up existing water already an inch deep; and SECONDLY, thankful for my Heavenly Father and Gods Word that I know the benefits of walking in love when those you need in dire situations do not come when asked. It just goes to show that when God cant get the right person to us in an emergency, if we are still and listen, God will instruct us through His Spirit just what we need to do until help arrives. Yep, keeping the faith! Walking in love! :)
