Im heading out in just a few minutes to do my first official end-of-year company banquet. Ive never been in a position to do something substantial for the crew and colleagues that have advanced me from what was only a sideline pursuit for just myself to what is now part of a living for many. It doesnt just feel good to give back. Its the absolute right thing to do. This has been a long time coming for my staff, both past and present, and I intend to make up well for the wait :) This banquet, and the close of this season, will mark what has so far been a 20 year run for me. What began with graduation parties and my first public venue, the Down Under Cafe at the Mohegan Manor so many years ago, I never dreamt that this is what I would be doing... or that Id even want to. Thanks are in order for those whove been so instrumental in the building of a dream: Ryan Hagberg, Owen Draughn, John Rezak, John J Pickard, James Wanamaker, Connor Michael Schildroth and Will DeSain But also those inspired to come aboard officially for 2015: Lauren Anderton, Joe Michael Tallarico and Kelly Davis And most certainly the colleagues who have helped fuel my inspiration and brave the journey alongside me Colleen M. Dunbar, Gregory A. Dunbar, Jeff Anderton and Kelly Blackburn And while not part of my team, I wish to gratefully acknowledge the following MCs and wedding professionals who have contributed in various ways to what weve become: Bill Milham, Kirk T. Rothrum, Nathan Baker, and Cindy Ormond. Thank you all!
