Im home. Yup. The Magnolia Theater in The West Village had a complimentary advance screening of the new Showtime Original Series THE AFFAIR! They also gave us a medium with real butter popcorn and a medium fountain drink, The West Village is a mixture of high end aka really expensive shops, apartments, bars and restaurants. When VH1 had the show, Footballers Wives about the Dallas Cowboys, my mother and I were invited to The Lemon Bar. At The Magnolia, you can purchase and bring inside the theater beer, wine, cocktails, ice cream bars, pizza, pasta, egg rolls and exotic foods like naan and hummus. Anyway, this very nice couple offered to share their popcorn with me while I was waiting for the movie to start. They were going to see GONE GIRL and we talked about politics, health care, the middle class, the wealthy, weather, trees, A/C and racism. It wasnt a long talk, but it was nice that they didnt see my color, I was just a person to pass the time with. :-D Then I waited thirty minutes for Eatizs buy one and get one free on their red dots meals. Some woman tried to take one of the two Chicken Parmesan from me. giggle I already had one in my basket. She was kind enough to let it go. :-) *Michelle ..the midnight traffic in her eyes......
